Shimano DENDOU MARU 9000 Plays Electric Reel

The Shimano Dendou-Maru 9000 Plays brings a whole new dimension to the range of power assisted reels in to the New Zealand fishing tackle market. Kiwi anglers now have the ability to drop baits in to the deep offshore canyons and seamounts to prospect new areas and target monster deep water species such as bass, gemfish, hapuka and bluenose previously unavailable to more traditional syles of reels.

The Shimano Dendou-Maru 9000 Plays features 3 x Sealed Anti Rust Bearings (S-ARB) with an impressive maximum retrieval rate of 135m of Power Pro line every minute and weighs only 1500grams. The Dendou-Maru 9000 Plays also boasts a huge Power Pro line capacity (24kg/.32mm = 1870m, 37kg/.41mm = 1150m) meaning you will never be caught short and has a massive 25kgs of maximum drag to stop stubborn fish in their tracks.

When fishing in the deep bethos it is importnat to get your baits in to the strike zone as quickly as possible and retrieve line back on to the reel at pace and efficiently - this means more time actually fishing and when faced with short bite times this effective system maximises one's chances of landing the big one.

The Dendou-Maru 9000 PLAYS is capable of retrieving a maximum of 135 meters of line per minute meaning that resetting for a new drift takes no time at all.
